How do I get started?
- Create a free networking account by clicking on the "create account" link that appears at the top of the page, or by clicking on the "Networking" tab in the upper right corner of the page.
- Fill out all the fields, then read the terms and conditions. If you accept them, click the check box that reads, "I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions." Click "Save." If you want to access the modules, enter your credit card information.
- We will send you an e-mail that contains a link. Click on the link to activate your account.
- Log on to PowerFilmmaking.com using your user name and password.
Frequently Asked Questions
When I choose a module, I can’t see the video. What’s wrong?
You need to install Flash Player on your computer. This free download allows you to view Flash-based content. Since all the videos on PowerFilmmaking.com are encoded in Flash, they will only play if you have Flash Player installed.
I downloaded Flash, but I still can’t see the video. What can I do?
- Empty the cache then restart your web browser. Re-log into www.PowerFilmmaking.com with your username and password.
- Make sure the web address is http://www.powerfilmmaking.com and not http://powerfilmmaking.com. The videos will not play correctly at http://powerfilmmaking.com. Occasionally web browsers remove the www from the URL. If this occurs, retype www.powerfilmmaking.com then log in.
The video plays back really choppy. What gives?
Video playback may be choppy if you have a slow internet connection or if you’re trying to play the video as it’s downloading. Try waiting until the entire video loads before playing it.
I can’t download the video. What’s wrong?
Videos in powerfilmmaking.com are designed to be played in your web browser and cannot be downloaded to your harddrive. By streaming the videos from our servers, we are able to update the contents of each module to ensure you have access to the most up-to-date information available.
